Carson Steele is an American running back for the Kansas City Chiefs as of the 2024 NFL season. He was signed as an undrafted agent by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2024. Growing up in Greenwood, he attended Center Groove High School. Playing under Coach Moore, he helped his team to a State 6A championship with a 14-0 record in his final year at the school. Being a captain, he also won several awards and broke 16 of his school records. Steele captained his team and was Indiana’s Mr. Football in 2020 as per the UCLA website. In his debut campaign for the Chiefs, Steele has rushed for 183 yards on 56 carries as of January 2025 (via ESPN).

Steele committed to Ball State University in 2021 to play his college football. He was straight into action in his freshman year as he rushed for 891 yards and scored six touchdowns as reported by UCLA's official website. After spending two seasons with Indiana, Steele transferred to UCLA for the 2023 season. He started nine games appearing in 12 as he rushed for 847 yards scoring 8 TDs as he ranked sixth in the Pac-12.
