Carson Steele is an American football fullback who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL. After going undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Chiefs signed him as an undrafted free agent in May 2024. Following his collegiate career, Steele is set to make his NFL debut in the upcoming 2024 season. He played for both Ball State University and the University of California, Los Angeles during his college years. As of January 2025, Steele has rushed for 183 yards on 56 carries.

During his collegiate career, he initially committed to playing football for the Ball State Cardinals. Over his two seasons there, he rushed for 2,447 yards and scored 20 touchdowns, while also recording 41 receptions for 323 yards as per Sports Reference. In 2022, he earned the 2021 John Hodge Award (via Ball State). After the 2021 season, he transferred to UCLA, where he concluded his college career with 847 rushing yards, 6 rushing touchdowns, and 17 receptions for 163 yards. Originally from Greenwood, Indiana, he attended Center Grove High School, where he was named Mr. Football in Indiana following the 2020 season and was also selected as the MaxPreps Indiana Player of the Year as per the UCLA website.
