Davante Lavell Adams is an American football wide receiver for the New York Jets as of the 2024 NFL season. The Green Bay Packers selected him with the 53rd overall pick in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. As of Week 16, 2024, Adams has recorded 946 receptions, 11,709 receiving yards, and 102 receiving touchdowns in his NFL career (via Pro Football Reference). He has earned First-team All-Pro honors three times, from 2020 to 2022. He is also a six-time Pro Bowler and a two-time NFL receiving touchdowns leader.
Adams is from East Palo Alto, California, and attended Palo Alto High School while growing up. After finishing high school, he played college football for California State University, Fresno from 2011 to 2013. During his time there, he earned two All-America honors and the 2013 Paul Warfield Award. He was also the 2012 Mountain West Freshman of the Year and a two-time first-team All-Mountain West player (via the official website of the university).
