David James Moore is an American football wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers in the NFL. The Seattle Seahawks drafted Moore with the 226th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft. After four seasons with the Seahawks, Moore was traded to the Denver Broncos in 2021. After failing to start for three different franchises (Broncos, Packers and Tampa Bay), Moore returned to the Panthers for his second stint in March 2024.
Moore attended Gainesville High School in Texas. He had a breakout senior season where put in around 700 receptions yards for 12 total touchdowns. Moore committed to East Central University to play his college football for the Tigers in 2013. Moore recorded 12 receptions for 275 yards appearing in eight games in his freshman year. He appeared in 41 games over four seasons for the Tigers at ECU.
