Devin Lloyd is an American football linebacker for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL. The Jaguars selected Lloyd as the 27th pick in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Lloyd attended the Otay Ranch High School in California. However, his position varied between safety, wide receiver and punter. As a senior, he had eight interceptions on defense, caught 29 passes on offense, and made 47 punts, averaging 37.1 yards each.

In 2017, Lloyd enrolled at the University of Utah as a three-star recruit, but he redshirted his first season and saw action in 14 games. The following year, he recorded six tackles. By the time he arrived in his senior year, he gained 52 tackles, six touchdowns, eight interceptions, three defensive scores, and 29 receptions for 493 yards. Furthermore, he was selected for the Pac-12 first team and the consensus first team all-American.
