D. J. Moore is a professional American footballer who plays in the National Football League as a wide receiver for the Chicago Bears. His professional career in the NFL started in the year 2018 when he was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the first round of the NFL draft of 2018.

After Moore was selected by the Carolina Panthers he signed a deal four-year deal worth $6.2 million with them. Moore made his official NFL debut in a match against the Dallas Cowboys in 2018. He recorded the first touchdown of his NFL career in a match against the Atlanta Falcons. He finished his debut season with 55 receptions for 788 and two touchdowns. Moore continued his excellent performance in the upcoming and in a match against the Detroit Lions he had seven catches for 127 yards, He finished the 2020 season with 66 receptions for 1,193 yards and four receiving touchdowns.

In 2021 the Panthers decided to use the fifth-year option in Moore's contract. He had an excellent 2021 season where Moore showcased some career-altering performances and he finished the season with 93 receptions for 1,157 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns. In 2022 Moore signed a new contract extension deal with the Panthers for three years of worth $61.9 million. In 2023 the Panthers traded Moore to the Chicago Bears.

Due to his excellent performance in his junior season, he was named to the First-team All-Big Ten Conference. After a successful junior season, he announced that he would not be playing in his senior season and instead would enter the NFL draft of 2018.
