Gabe Davis is an American football player who plays the wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL as of 2024. The Buffalo Bills selected Davis in the fourth round with the 128th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Having spent the first 4 years of his NFL career with the Buffalo Bills, he was released in 2024. Davis immediately found a new suitor in Jacksonville and the Jaguars have now signed him to a three-year deal worth $39 million. Better known for outstanding performances in important games, he has earned the nickname ‘Big-Game Gabe’. Additionally, he holds the NFL record for most receiving touchdowns in a playoff game, securing four touchdowns in the divisional round against the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2021 season.

Davis was born in Fernandina Beach, Florida, and was raised by a single mother. His football journey began at Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida, where he played high school football. Amassing 1,347 yards, he recorded 69 receptions and 17 touchdowns as a senior. For his remarkable performance, he was honored with First-team Florida Class 8A All-State. After finishing high school, he chose to play college football at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Concluding his collegiate career in 2019 at UCF, he commenced his NFL journey with the Buffalo Bills after being drafted by the team. Making his debut in the 2020 season, he had a breakthrough performance during the 2022 season, recording career highs and league-leading statistics. Throughout the season, he started in all 15 games, accumulating 836 receiving yards with 48 receptions and seven touchdowns. Over his four-season career, he has fallen just short of achieving the 3,000 receiving yards milestone.

Davis attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) and participated in college football, playing for the UCF Knights from 2017 to 2019, garnering several accolades. Some of his notable achievements include securing a position in the 2018 second-team All-ACC and again in the 2019 first-team All-ACC. Additionally, he was honored, earning the PFF third-team All-American in 2019. Following the 2019 season, he announced that he would enter the 2020 NFL Draft. He concluded his collegiate career by catching 152 passes for 2,447 receiving yards and securing 23 touchdowns.

Standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing around 225 lb, Davis was selected as the 128th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills.
