Last Modified Apr 18, 2023 11:27 GMT

Stetson Bennett IV is an American football quarterback who currently plays for the Georgia Bulldogs. He was born on 28 October 1997 (age 25 years) in Blackshear, Georgia.

Bennett began his college football career at Georgia Military College before transferring to the University of Georgia in 2019. He initially served as a backup quarterback for the Bulldogs but became the starting quarterback during the 2020 season after injuries to other players.

During the 2020 season, Bennett led the Bulldogs to an 8-2 record and a victory in the Peach Bowl. He completed 166 of his 261 passes for 2,211 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. However, Georgia lost in the National Championship Game to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Stetson Bennett’s NIL Deal

Stetson Bennett’s NIL deal is at $1.4 million currently

Stetson Bennett has landed a bunch of Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) deals pushing his earnings to nearly $1.4 million since leading the University of Georgia to the 2021 national championship. Shuman Farms, outside of Reidsville, announced a NIL brand partnership with Bennett.

He is currently ranked umber 14th in NIL Top 100 and Number 9 in College Football NIL rank.

Stetson Bennett’s Brand Endorsement Deals

Stetson Bennett currently has endorsement deals from five different companies and they are:

  • Georgia Dairy Alliance

  • Breaking T

  • The Player Trunk

  • Shuman Farms

  • Synovus Bank

Although Bennett led the Georgia Bulldogs to a national championship appearance in 2021 and won the chip in 2022, and 2023, he was not a highly-touted recruit and did not have the same level of national recognition as some of his counterparts.

Despite the adversity, Bennett worked his tails off to be a better player and marketable. This has now led to Bennett having 5 major endorsement deals from various companies.

Stetson Bennett’s Net Worth

Stetson Bennett’s estimated net worth is around $3 million.

However, building his fortune took Stetson down a lot of difficult paths.

Despite completing three touchdown touchdowns and two interception throws against the Alabama Crimson Tide on December 4, 2021, Bennett lost the SEC Championship Game 41-24. Due to the criticism he received after the loss, many people believed that JT Daniels should start the Orange Bowl matchup versus Michigan.

In 2022 and 2023, Stetson took his game to another level and led the team to two Nationals championships. This tied him with A.J. McCarron as the only two quarterbacks to win consecutive championships.
