Jake Browning is an American football player who currently plays as a quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals. He was the backup quarterback to Joe Burrow but he has now been handed the reins to the Bengals offense following the season-ending wrist injury to QB1 Burrow. For Browning, this is the time to shine as he has had a very quiet four seasons in the NFL up to now. Once a highly touted quarterback during his high school and early college days, he somehow fell off of NFL scouts' radars after his shoulder injury in his sophomore year at college. Playing for the Washington Huskies football team, Browning’s performances started to dip after his injury.

After that, even though he played decently well in his junior and senior years, he was never considered in the top rounds of the draft. Eventually, when all was said and done, Browning found himself undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft. Luckily, he was signed by the Minnesota Vikings and thus began his NFL journey which is now ready to commence after several years.
