
Jayden Daniels played his college football for the LSU Tigers and was the quarterback for the team. He initially started his college football career with the Arizona State Sun Devils and played three seasons for them before entering the NCAA transfer portal and taking his talents to LSU. Daniels is one of the best QB prospects entering the 2024 draft and rightfully so. He is the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner and is a terrific dual-threat quarterback.
Daniels started his college football career with the Sun Devils in 2019 and he had a great start to his freshman season with 2943 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, and only 2 interceptions. Daniels was the first true freshman starting quarterback for the Sun Devils. After the conclusion of the 2021 season, Daniels decided it was time for a change and took his talents to LSU.
During his final year with LSU, Daniels took his game to another level. In 2023, Daniels had a staggering 3812 passing yards, 40 touchdowns, with a completion percentage of 72.2 and also had 1134 rushing yards, and 10 rushing touchdowns.
Daniels received several awards for his outstanding performance in 2023, however, the Heisman Trophy stands out. He is only the third quarterback in LSU’s history to win the Heisman Trophy behind Joe Burrow and Billy Cannon. Daniels also won the Walter Camp Award in 2023, AP College Football Player of the Year in 2023, the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in 2023, the Davey O'Brien Award in 2023, and the Manning Award in 2023 just to name a few.
