Jeffrey Bassa is an American college football linebacker from the University of Oregon. He was one of 329 prospects invited to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. At the NFL Scouting Combine, he ran a 4.63-second 40-yard dash, recorded a 38.5-inch vertical jump, and clocked in a 1.59-second 10-yard split. With a prospect grade of 6.15, he is projected as a good backup with the potential to develop into a starter at the next level. His Next Gen Stats score of 70 falls into the "good" category. Jeffrey Bassa signed with the Oregon Ducks football program in 2021 and played for them until the end of the 2024 season. He played 55 games in four seasons, recording 236 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks. He also had three interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown, and forced two fumbles. In his freshman year in 2021, Bassa switched from safety to linebacker. He recorded 39 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and one sack. His performance against Washington, where he had six tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack, and a pass breakup, saw him receive the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week award.
