Jimmy Garoppolo, born on November 2, 1991 in Arlington Heights, Illinois, is an American professional football player. He played the position of a quarterback in the NFL team Las Vegas Raiders. Garoppolo is considered to be a top quarterback in the league.

Garoppolo was drafted by the New England Patriots in the 2nd round of the NFL draft in 2014. He was the backup quarterback to Tom Brady. As a result, Garoppolo barely got any playing time and did not get to showcase his skill and potential in the league barring the times when Brady was not playing.

Garoppolo was traded to the San Francisco 49ers in 2017 where he was the starting quarterback. It was here that Garoppolo was able to make a name for himself in the league, showing off his skill and potential to the maximum level. Garoppolo was able to revive the team which was coming off a terrible season with a 1-10 record by making the record 6-10 by the end of the season. In 2019, Garoppolo led the team to the superbowl championship but he was unable to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs led by Patrick Mahomes.

His tenure at 49ers was filled with many injuries, building up to cause Garoppolo to miss the 2018, 2020 and 2022 seasons. Now, Garoppolo seems to be back to full health and will play for the Las Vegas Raiders who were in need of a good quarterback after releasing Derek Carr.

It will no doubt be exciting to see what Garoppolo can do with a new team while coming off an injury. The 2023-24 season may be crucial to Garoppolo to prove that he is the same quarterback that he has been all these years and nothing could make that statement stronger than guiding the Raiders to a good season.

What is Jimmy Garoppolo’s Age?

Jimmy Garoppolo was born on November 2, 1991, in Arlington Heights, Illinois, United States of America. As of July 2023, Jimmy Garoppolo is 31 years old. In November 2023, Garoppolo will turn 32 years old. Barring injuries, it is known that Garoppolo can perform at a high level and has a lot more left to give to the game. Still having the potential to improve with the current state of his age, Garoppolo is one player to watch out for in the 2023-24 season. Playing at the same level he plays at and maintaining good health would go a long way in determining how his NFL career will shape over the next few years.
