Jimmy Garoppolo is an American professional football player. He was born on November 2, 1991 in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He plays the position of a quarterback in the NFL and is recognized as one of the best quarterbacks in the league.

Drafted as a 2nd round pick in the NFL draft of 2014 by the New England Patriots, Garoppolo was a backup quarterback to Tom Brady for his initial few seasons in the NFL. This prevented him from excelling on the field, rarely getting an opportunity to play.
