What is Jordan Davis' 40-Time?

Jordan Davis’ 40-time was 4.78 seconds at the 2022 NFL Draft as per CBS Sports. He became the third player in history to run a 40-yard dash in less than five seconds while weighing more than 330 pounds, following Dontari Poe in 2012 and Greg Robinson in 2014. Among defensive linemen who ran the 40-yard dash, Davis' run earned him the second-best time at the NFL Combine. Only Devonte Wyatt, his Georgia teammate, outran him in the 40-yard dash, finishing first with a time of 4.77. Even though Wyatt was 33 pounds lighter and three inches shorter than him, Davis was still only beaten by 0.01 seconds.

Further, Davis' 10-yard split time was 1.68 seconds. According to Trevor Sikkema of PFF, that put him in the 85th percentile of all players to run the 40-yard dash. His Relative Athletic Score (RAS), which compares a player's athleticism to that of other players at the position, was an uncommon 10, which is the maximum score possible. (via Sporting News)
