Luther Burden III is an American football wide receiver for the Chicago Bears as of April 2025. The Bears drafted him with the 39th overall pick in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft. He represented the Missouri Tigers football program in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The 6'0" wideout ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Combine. Burden III’s total score and production score ranked in the top 3 among all wide receivers at the 2025 NFL combine (via NFL’s official website). The St. Louis native did his schooling at East St. Louis Senior High School. Luther was a two-sport athlete who also played on his high school’s basketball team.
