Mitchell Trubisky is an American Professional footballer who plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers as a quarterback in the National Football League. Trubisky’s NFL career began in the year 2017 when he was chosen by the Chicago Bears as the second overall pick in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

In a match against Minnesota Vikings, Trubisky recorded 12-of-25 passes for 128 yards, a touchdown, and an interception as the Bears lost 20–17. Week after week Trubisky improved his game and in a victory game of 20–3 victory against the Cleveland Browns, he threw for 193 yards making his total season passing yard total to 2,015 which was the most done by a rookie in the Bears history. Trubisky continued to improve his game season after season for the Bears. Trubisky in his career in the Bears recorded 10,609 passing yards, 64 touchdowns and 37 interceptions.

On March 18, 2021, Trubisky signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills worth $2.5 million. Trubisky stated that he only signed with the Bills to learn under the same coaching staff that made Josh Allen in an MVP candidate. On March 2022 he signed a two-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers. where in week 1 he was named the as the starting quarterback against the Cincinnati Bengals where in a 23-20 win he threw for 194 yards and a touchdown. On May 18 2023 he signed a contract extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers for two years.

Mitchell Trubisky was born on August 20, 1994, in Mentor, Ohio. Currently, he is 28 years old. The young player first came into the NFL as a quarterback for the Chicago Bears at the age of 22.

Before his journey in the NFL began Mitchell Trubisky used to play college football at North Carolina under head coach Larry Fedora. In his sophomore year, he made his debut in the 41–14 victory against Carolina A&T Aggies where he recorded a 35-yard rushing touchdown. He finished the following season with 40-of-47 passes for 555 yards and six touchdowns and rushed 16 times for 101 yards and three touchdowns. As a junior, he had his first career reception for eight years against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. He had a tremendous junior season and as a result, he announced that he will not be playing in his senior year and instead declared himself available for the 2017 NFL Draft.
