Taysom Hill is a professional American footballer who plays as a tight end for the New Orleans Saints. His professional career in the NFL began in the year 2017 when he was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent.

Hill played three games with the Packers in the preseason and after he was released in the final roster cutdown. In 2018 Hill was claimed by the New Orleans Saints. He made his official NFL debut in a match against the Panthers. In a game against the Cleveland Browns Hill returned his first kick in the NFL. Hill continued his excellent performance week after week and he finished his debut season with 37 carries for 196 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, three receptions for four yards, and passed for 64 yards and an interception. He continued to showcase brilliant performances in the upcoming season for the Sainst where in the 2020 season Hill signed a new contract extension deal for two years with Saints. In the 2020 season in a match against the Atlanta Falcons, it was announced that Hill will be starting at quarterback for the first time in his NFL career. In the following match, he recorded 23 passes, completing 18 for 233 yards, he also ran for 51 yards and two touchdowns.

In 2021 season Hill signed another new contract extension deal with the Saints worth $40 million. in the 2021 season in a game against the Dallas Cowboys, he recorded 101 rushing yards on eleven carries, he threw four interceptions to only two touchdowns. Hill continued to perform on a high level for the Saints and in December 2021 he signed an additional contract extension deal with the New Orleans Saints. In 2022 Hill was moved from quarter to tight end position by the new head coach of the Saints Dennis Allen.

He continued his excellent performance throughout the season and in 2016 his senior year in the Cougars season final game, Hill suffered an elbow injury that ruled him out of the game and ended his season.
