Trey Amos is an American football cornerback for the Washington Commanders. The 61st overall pick from the 2025 NFL draft was one of the 329 draft prospects to get invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. At the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, he measured in at 6’1 and 195 lbs, with a 1.6-second 10-Yard split and 4.43-second 40-Yd dash. Amos' total score, presented by Next Gen Stats, ranked 12th among all cornerbacks at the 2025 NFL Combine. His prospect grade of 6.35 indicates that he has a future to be a plus starter in the pros down the road. His Next Gen Stats score of 73 is also considered good (via the NFL’s official website).

The 2025 NFL draft prospect committed to the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns football program, where he played from 2020 to 2022. Amos saw playing time in all three years at Louisiana after getting thrust into action in his very first season as a Ragin’ Cajun in 2020. After competing in the Sun Belt Conference for three years, Amos landed in the SEC conference in 2023, donning the Crimson and white uniform for one year. Amos’ single season at Tuscaloosa saw him fetch around the same production numbers as those of the 2021 season. While Amos remained in the SEC in the following year, he was no longer representing Alabama and instead patrolled the secondary of the Ole Miss Rebels. He concluded his collegiate career by appearing in 61 total games.
