Ty Marquise Johnson is an American football running back for the Buffalo Bills, as of the 2024 NFL season. The Detroit Lions drafted Johnson with the 186th overall pick in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Before joining the Bills in 2023, he played for the Detroit Lions from 2019 to 2020 and the New York Jets from 2020 to 2022. According to Spotrac, he signed a one-year contract with the Bills in 2024 worth $1,292,500.

Before joining the NFL, Johnson attended the University of Maryland from 2015 to 2018. According to Sports Reference, he recorded 2,653 rushing yards, 17 rushing touchdowns along with 29 receptions for 318 receiving yards and scored two receiving touchdowns. In 2017, he earned Honorable Mention All-Big Ten and was named to the Athlon Sports Third Team All-Big Ten. Before joining the Maryland Terrapins, he played high school football at Fort Hill High School. He finished his high school career with 4,851 all-purpose yards, 65 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions, including 3,363 rushing yards at an average of 14.7 yards per carry and 43 rushing touchdowns.
