Walter Nolen III, commonly known as Walter Nolen, is an American football defensive tackle for the Arizona Cardinals. He was taken by the Cardinals with the 16th overall pick from the first round of the 2025 NFL draft. He formerly represented the Ole Miss Rebels and Texas A&M Aggies in the NCAA. He declared for the 2025 NFL draft after he played at the University of Mississippi in the 2024 season. Before joining the Rebels in 2024, he played for the Texas A&M Aggies football program in the SEC Conference from 2022 to 2023, appearing in 22 games during that span, as recorded by Sports Reference. His freshman season in 2022 saw him appear in 10 games, where he tallied 29 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and one sack.

Nolen’s sophomore campaign saw him register 37 total tackles, 9 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks, as per Sports Reference. Walter started all 13 games in his only season with Ole Miss in 2024 as the defensive tackle and tied for the team lead with 14.0 tackles for loss, as per Ole Miss' official website. Walter Nolen is reportedly a native of Powell, Tennessee. He attended Powell High School, where Matt Lowe coached him. He was a 2022 Under Armour All-American, as per Texas A&M's official website.
