Road to WWE SummerSlam: Best Way to book John Cena

For the first time in almost a decade, John Cena was seen in the midcard of WrestleMania which marked the change of winds in WWE.Cena has been getting a 50-50 response for a long time now as he has polarized the WWE Universe into two. The first part is bound on cheering Cena whatever he does while the other is critical about every step he takes.But no matter what reactions he gets, Cena is still the biggest draw in WWE and is someone that the company could go to at all situation.And with a big pay-per-view like SummerSlam coming up WWE needs to come up with the best way to book Cena. So here is the third edition of Road to SummerSlam series with John Cena in the spotlight.

#7 Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena (If Cena lose he joins the Wyatt family stipulation)

Bray Wyatt won the match at Extreme Rules but made it clear that the feud between the two was not ending there. He mentioned about the possibility of Cena joining the Wyatt Family which could set up the stipulation of their match at Payback.

Cena who would love to settle the score with Wyatts wounding hesitate in taking up the offer. Cena and Wyatt could work out a better match in Payback with some gimmick added to it.

Since Cage didn’t work out well it could be a Hell in a Cell match so that no one gets in or out of it. With some creepy way, Bray should win the match which will force Cena to join the Wyatts.

#6 Im going to bring out the Monster inside you

Now that Cena is under his wing, Bray will be constantly looking to let the monster inside Cena out. The young fans of Cena could be terrorized when they see him getting beaten up by Bray making it more effective.

Cena being the resilient guy he is will just suffer the whole thing in an attempt to prove Bray wrong that there is no monster inside him.

At the same time Bray could get him and Cena in the Money in the bank and order Cena that he help him win the match at the pay-per-view so he can implement his next step for having the whole world in his hands.

#5 Cena turns on Bray to win the Money in the Bank

The WWE could easily barge in four other names around Cena and Bray to build up the Money in the bank match.

Once the match starts, Cena could awkwardly help Bray and protect the eater of the worlds from the remaining four men. But as the match edges closer to the end, Cena could be shown frustrated by following orders from Bray.

He could simply turn on Bray and give him and attitude adjustment off the ladder to get the Money in the Bank contract.

#4 You are not going anywhere

With the realization that Cena double crossed him at Money in the Bank, Bray could come out in the following night that Cena is still a member of the Wyatt Family and order him to surrender the briefcase to his leader.

However, Cena would reject the order and make a proposal of his own. A winner takes all match at Battleground with the Money in the Bank contract and Cena’s freedom on the line.

Bray will not walk away from the challenge with so much at stakes and just like their previous encounters the match could carry some gimmick as well.

#3 The Monster comes out

So Cena will be facing off against Bray in some kind of no disqualification match which will allow both the superstars to go to their limits.

With the stakes being set high and Cena having everything to lose, he will be desperate to win the match. And this same desperation is going to bring out the monster inside him. Cena could simply go off his limits and destroy Bray.

Bray would enjoy the new Cena as it was what he always wanted. He could simply laugh with the punishment he gets from Cena making it look creepier.

In the end Cena could win the match ending his association with the Wyatt Family and retaining his Money in the Bank.

#2 Cena is not going to be an opportunist

With his aim of bringing out the monster inside Cena achieved, Bray could head out to haunt someone else leaving Cena alone.

Cena on the other hand would come out and say that he is not going to cash in the Money in the Bank after a match and be an opportunist like everyone. Instead he could name the place and time for cashing in the contract making it easier for the champion Daniel Bryan.

SummerSlam could be the stage that Cena picks with his Money in the Bank contract which will give the main event for the pay-per-view.

#1 Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam

Cena will be back where he belongs with this one and will be looking to get the title back from the flying goat. He had one previous main event match with Bryan and this being only the second is going to keep the energy levels high.

The two could works out a great match and the fans would be buying into it as well since they love Bryan and is unsure about Cena.

Cena could move a bit nearer to the heel alignment with Bryan on the opposite side which will be a good thing if there is a heel turn coming for him in the near future. Cena could win or lose the match against Bryan since they could go on to have two or three matches as an after effect of this one.
