SummerSlam 2015- Date, place, tickets and what to watch

SummerSlam 2015We are just a week away from this year’s edition of the SummerSlam Pay-per-view. The match card is so amazing that almost every match on the card has the potential to be a show stealer. WWE has recently announced that the show will air for 4 hours instead of 3.This is the first time in the history of this PPV that the reserved time slot for the show was 4 hours. With all of that said, there are some things that the WWE fans should know about- Date, Place, Tickets and What to Watch!

#1 Date and Place

The event is scheduled to take place on 23rd August 2015. As mentioned earlier, this show will run for a continous window of 4 hours. The action will begin at 7E/4P (7PM in New York (Eastern Time Zone) and 4 PM in Los Angeles (Pacific Time Zone)).

This year’s SummerSlam will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. There is something interesting to be note here. This is the first time since 2008 that SummerSlam is held outside Los Angeles.

#2 Tickets

The sale of tickets for SummerSlam is open. This stadium has a capacity of 18000 and the WWE team would love to have a 100% attendance. Tickets are available in the range $30.50-$530.50 (excluding fee). Tickets are available in three different categories- upper bowl, lower bowl and ring side. In the official WWE website, it was mentioned that tickets will be available at ‘Ticketmaster.com’ and the Barclays Center box office.

Tickets can also be booked by phone at (800) 745-3000.

#3 What to Watch

The WWE Network

The show will be broadcasted on several online platforms. Officially, the WWE network and Pay-per view are listed by the company. Several other platforms also broadcast the show. If you do not have an online facility, don’t worry folks! You can watch it on Ten Sports.

This year’s event has got a lot of interesting matches and don’t miss the action. Some of the big matches in this year’s event are- Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker, John Cena vs. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns/Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt/Luke Harper.
