Survivor Series 2018 is shaping up to be a great event for the WWE. The show is considered one of the most important events for the company every calendar year.

WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar takes on WWE Champion Daniel Bryan, Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins takes on United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, while Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey takes on Charlotte Flair.

Daniel Bryan shocked the world when he won the WWE Championship from the 'Phenomenal' AJ Styles on Tuesday night, and Becky Lynch shocked the world when she told the WWE Universe that she couldn't compete in the match due to an injury she suffered at the hands of Nia Jax on Raw.

This led to a concussion and also a broken nose for 'The Man', which forced her to pick her replacement, and she picked her former friend turned foe, and member of 'Four Horsewomen', Charlotte Flair.

The show is now stacked well, and has a plethora of matches that will give the fans sheer entertainment. The show is known for its shocking value, and if the WWE plays its cards right, we may see a lot of shocks during the show.

In this article, we look at 5 shocking things which could happen at Survivor Series.

#5 Randy Orton joins Team SmackDown

He hears entry in the team!

Randy Orton has been eyeing Rey Mysterio since the latter threw him out of the ring at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. The recent RKOs by 'The Viper' are a testament that he is hearing voices in his head, and would like to cost Rey Mysterio his opportunity at Survivor Series.

In an attempt to build up their feud, we may see Rey Mysterio backstage in pain, and Team SmackDown would go into a handicap match. When it would look like the blue brand is a wrestler short, The Viper could enter and take out his brand's adversaries. It would be great if he becomes the last man standing for the blue brand.

#4 Shinsuke Nakamura beats Seth Rollins via distraction

Dean Ambrose is the key
Dean Ambrose is the key

Dean Ambrose called Seth Rollins his brother, but the former turned on the latter after they won the Raw tag team titles. This feud has been building up since the incident, but we haven't seen much progress.

Seth Rollins is the best performer the company has on both its major brands, while Shinsuke Nakamura has been an afterthought since coming to the main roster.

Despite his heel gimmick, and current US Championship reign, 'The King Of Strong Style' hasn't been impressive, but if he beats 'The Kingslayer' via assist and distraction from Dean Ambrose, he could use it to throw weight around Tuesday nights, while Seth Rollins could take his feud to new heights after the loss.

'The Lunatic Fringe' is a performer who would have few words, but more fight after Survivor Series.

#3 Charlotte Flair beats Ronda Rousey

Be Bad with Flair!
Be Bad with Flair!

Charlotte Flair was the last minute replacement to a hyped match between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey at WWE Survivor Series. Becky Lynch is out of action due to an injury caused this week on Raw by Nia Jax during the invasion by SmackDown.

Nia Jax caused Becky Lynch to suffer a concussion and also a broken nose, which made it difficult for the WWE medical staff to clear her for in-ring competition. In an attempt to avoid any legal issues or health-related problems for the current SmackDown Women's Champion, the company asked the champion to choose her replacement.

With Charlotte Flair being the workhorse she is, it would be nice if she wins the match at Survivor Series for her brand, fair and square. While it would hurt Ronda Rousey's image as 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet', the fact that the 2nd generation superstar could use it to claim her right for the SmackDown Women's Championship would be a great idea.

#2 Daniel Bryan gets an assist from Shane McMahon

The Beard gets an assist from 'The Boss'
The Beard gets an assist from 'The Boss'

Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan have served as the commissioner and general manager of SmackDown respectively. During their time in the position of power, the two put on praiseworthy shows and had each other's back on Tuesday nights.

After Daniel Bryan decided to become a full-time performer, Shane McMahon was kind to accept his resignation from the position of general manager. The two had, and still have a lot of respect for each other. Despite the fact that Daniel Bryan turned heel, it is expected that he has the support of the commissioner, and that may be seen at Survivor Series.

If the same happens, we may see 'The Beard' perform all the dirty tricks on Tuesday nights, while a member of the McMahon family supports him in his path. It would be a great idea to see an Authority storyline on the blue brand after the red brand has showcased multiple authority based storylines in the past.

#1 Braun Strowman costs Brock Lesnar the match

Get These Hands!
Get These Hands!

Brock Lesnar is the current Universal Champion, and he is indeed very dominating inside the ring. During his promos, this is left to The Humble Advocate who does the talking for him.

If we remember what transpired this week on Raw, we may see Braun Strowman be the game changer for Team Raw. If he becomes the last man standing in the brand versus brand match, we may see him walk into the commissioners' office and ask for a match with Baron Corbin, Monday Night on Raw.

After the same doesn't get approved, we may see him coming out in anger, and then when Brock Lesnar would be fighting 'The Beard', he may cost 'The Beast Incarnate' the match. This would infuriate the commissioner who would ask him for answers the next day, and that segment would be 'Best For Business.'
