Details on the lawsuit filed against WWE by three former WWE talents

Lawsuit filed against WWE by Luther Reigns, Ryan Sakoda and Russ McCullough

As noted earlier, three former WWE talents- Luther Reigns, Ryan Sakoda and Russ McCullough have filed a lawsuit against WWE at California. The 47 page lawsuit was similar to the ones filed earlier by other WWE superstars.

Reigns claims that he went through numerous injuries and concussions that went untreated and there was always a “code of silence” in WWE regarding head injuries. He said that he was once knocked out by Big Show and he was not provided any treatment. The suit notes that Reigns suffered a stroke in the past and suffers from post-concussion symptoms today including severe fatigue, dizziness and severe short term and long term memory loss

Sakoda claimed that he and some others were “forced to wrestle injured or you lost your job” and added that WWE did not discuss or treat concussions. Sakoda also told that WWE is operated by “intimidation and abuse”. After he suffered from a concussion off a super kick in 2013, he was just asked not to sleep lest he should die. Sakoda claims that he is suffering from numerous health problems including memory loss, severe depression, severe migraines and headache.

McCullough claimed that he was knocked unconscious in a WWE event in Cincinnati and was beat with 15 chair shots without the trainers intervening. When he reported the issue, WWE replied “not our problem”. McCullough said that he was suffering from numerous health problems including memory loss, severe depression, severe migraines, headache and panic attacks that resulted in over 40 emergency room visits since his retirement.

WWE has not yet responded to the law-suit.
