Recent reports suggest that the WWE management are quite satisfied and happy with how the Brand Split has turned out, as per Cageside Seats. They are reportedly working rigorously to differentiate the two brands more in order to get the best out of the split.
In case you didn’t know...
WWE split SmackDown LIVE and RAW into two different brands in August last year. Since then, numerous superstars have prospered and gained fame thanks to the even distribution of superstars to each roster.
Fan-favourite superstars like Finn Balor, AJ Styles and Kevin Owens became World Champions while several lower-carders like Heath Slater, Breezango, Jinder Mahal and Mojo Rawley attained immense success right after the split.
The women’s division has seen the rise of exciting superstars like Charlotte, Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Becky Lynch, among others. Sasha Banks and Charlotte made history by main-eventing a pay-per-view and being the first women to compete in a Hell in A Cell at the RAW exclusive pay-per-view of the same name.
The heart of the matter
WWE officials, the superstars, as well as non-wrestling personnel backstage are reportedly happy with the split. The content on both brands has been elevated thanks to the weekly on-screen animosity and the competition between the two brands to outdo each other.
Reports suggest that the WWE higher-ups are planning on differentiating the two brands even more.

It seems like the WWE officials are satisfied by how the brand split has turned out, and hence there might be more than one shocking thing coming our way as both brands could possibly undergo heavy change.

The Brand Extension era has been one hell of a time to be a wrestling fan. It has been immensely entertaining and kept fans on the edge of their seats.
The “differentiation” should include more championships and maybe a change in concepts for the two brands. Personally, I am waiting in anticipation for the inter-promotion matches like Randy Orton vs Brock Lesnar from SummerSlam last year.
