Two WWE Superstars ejected during a match; popular tag team suffers a major loss on SmackDown

On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa of DIY competed against Berto and Angel of the Legado Del Fantasma in a tag team match. Santos Escobar and Elektra Lopez were present ringside during the bout but were forced to head to the back.

Gargano and Berto started things off in the ring. The latter hit a vertical suplex but only got a one-count. The former NXT Champion hit a takedown and nailed Berto with a hurricanrana. He then tagged in his partner Ciampa and they both nailed Berto with a running knee in the corner.

DIY sent Legado Del Fantasma out of the ring with a clothesline and they took them out with a diving crossbody at ringside. Later on in the match, the heels nailed Ciampa with the Gaza Special in the ring and got a two-count. Ciampa hit a suplex and made the hot tag. Johnny Gargano entered and hit a few kicks.

He then nailed Berto with a slingshot spear but Santos Escobar caused a distraction. Elektra Lopez pushed Gargano while he was on the top turnbuckle and the referee ejected Escobar and Lopez from ringside. DIY hit their Meat in the Middle double-team finishing move and got the victory on Friday Night SmackDown.
