Report on the issues backstage ahead of WWE RAW this week

WWE RAW is always one of the tougher shows to plan for the company, with the three-hour runtime quite difficult to get ready for. However, for any televised programming, there should be plans in place for the show ahead of time. That was apparently not the case this week on RAW, with several changes made to the show ahead of airing, the latest reports state.

According to a report by Fightful Select, several rundowns of the show were handed out throughout the night. There were apparently a lot of changes being made to the show backstage before it went on air.

The report adds that the plans that were originally in place were changed a few times.

Whether WWE was changing every segment or whether the changes were made with regard to a particular superstar or segment is not clear.

The show kicked off with a pre-filmed attack by Brock Lesnar on Cody Rhodes, so at least that was thought of before. However, during the show, the attack continued with Lesnar's focus on Cody's arm clear for anyone to see.

The star was injured before the night was over, and it will be interesting to see how this affects the Night of Champions match between Lesnar and Rhodes.
