This week's RAW saw a historically significant moment unravel as multiple time contender Roman Reigns finally ascended the WWE championship throne in front of a raucous crowd in Philadelphia.
Roman Reigns was able to beat the odds stacked against him this time, as he overcame multiple interferences, ranging from the League of Nations to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, to overcome Sheamus with a Spear for the win.
Following RAW going off the air, his cousins The Usos and best friend Dean Ambrose came out to celebrate the win with Reigns. Roman cut a promo addressing the Philadelphia crowd that booed him after his win at the last Royal Rumble, noting how much of a difference a year makes.
He thanked the fans and promised them he would work even harder and closed the show wishing his daughter at home Happy Birthday, and celebrating with the fans. Below is a video of the same:
