In case you didn't know...

Over the past few months, there have been several reports that have suggested that MMA veteran Ronda Rousey could potentially jump ship from the world of Mixed Martial Arts to the world of Pro Wrestling.

Rousey, who has been making one-off appearances for WWE, was also recently spotted backstage at several NXT house shows and the former UFC Bantamweight Champion recently attended a dinner with WWE COO Triple H. However, The Game has seemingly continued to downplay all the reports suggesting that Rousey might be heading to the biggest wrestling company in the world.

The heart of the matter

During Alexa’s interaction with TMZ, 'The Goddess' stated that she is not worried about Ronda Rousey and the possibility of the MMA veteran is heading to WWE in the near future. Bliss told TMZ that she is a fighting champion and she is not worried about anyone taking her title away from her and claimed that the Raw Women’s Title belongs to her.

Additionally, Bliss was also asked if she could take on Ronda Rousey in the ring. She responded by saying that she’ll have to get into the ring with Rousey and eventually find out the outcome of it.

“We’ll have to get in the ring and see, I guess”- Alexa Bliss stated.

Furthermore, Alexa also discussed the upcoming Women’s Royal Rumble match, saying that it is definitely a monumental moment in women’s wrestling history and claimed that if any women want to be involved in the match then it’s going to be totally awesome. Lastly, Bliss ended her statement by sending a ‘Good Luck’ to Ronda Rousey.

What’s next?

Alexa Bliss won the Raw Women’s Championship from ‘The Boss’ Sasha Banks during last year’s Summerslam pay-per-view. Bliss is currently in her second reign as WWE Raw Women’s Champion and later this month she is likely to be heading into the Wells Fargo Center as the reigning champ.

Author’s Take

WWE still hasn’t revealed what Alexa Bliss’ role is going to come January 28th at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Bliss could either enter the Women’s Royal Rumble match or could possibly defend her Women’s Title against a potential challenger.
