We know, for all intents and purposes, that Brock Lesnar is a SmackDown superstar now. We saw him appear on the blue brand and make a challenge to Kofi Kingston, and the two men are scheduled to square off when WWE SmackDown moves to FOX.
But before he officially moves to SmackDown, he is going to make a very special appearance on the season premiere of WWE RAW. So, what lies in store for the Beast Incarnate on the red brand?
I really do not think that it will be something as simple as Paul Heyman cutting a promo, and The Beast Incarnate bouncing around with just a grin on his face. No, I think that something special is in the works and fans will be in for a treat at the final RAW before Hell in a Cell.
So, with that in mind here are 5 surprises that could happen when Brock Lesnar appears on RAW next week.
#5 Bobby Lashley returns to make a challenge
We all know just how badly Bobby Lashley wants to work with Brock Lesnar. I may go so far as to say that he wants to do it as much as Sting wants to work with The Undertaker. Lashley has been very vocal about wanting to face Lesnar and even back when he was in TNA, he would often mention The Beast.
We know that he is scheduled to come back around this time, and so what if he returns right before the draft, to make a challenge to Lesnar? So when Lesnar potentially becomes the WWE Champion, the first man that he goes up against is Lashley!
Fans have wanted these two men to meet for ages. If they do clash, it'll be big news.
#4 Matt Riddle shows up to confront Brock Lesnar
Matt Riddle has been very vocal about the fact that he wants to clash with Brock Lesnar down the line, and he pretty much said as much in his interview with Gary Cassidy of Sportskeeda, which is a part of our Dropkick DiSKussions series.
Both men come from the world of MMA and a clash between the two will certainly be a very unique affair, to put it rather plainly. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say that this may be a match that is pretty much certain to happen down the line, considering how many people have spoken about it.
I know that Matt Riddle is one of the top players in NXT right now, but what if the idea is for him to show up on RAW, so as to attract new eyeballs and get new people to tune in to NXT on the USA Network?
If he makes a challenge to Brock Lesnar for somewhere down the road, it could mean big business. Even if he comes up short against The Beast Incarnate, suddenly an NXT star will be a household name.
Everybody wins, in that case.
#3 Lars Sullivan makes a threat via video
I know that Lars Sullivan is supposed to be out for a few more months, but that has never stopped anyone from cutting a promo via video. Lars is one of those men who looks like he could physically pose a threat to Brock Lesnar, and therefore, I'd be very interested to see the two men clash.
Sullivan could suddenly call Lesnar out and say that he's returning in 2020, and he wants to challenge Lesnar at the Royal Rumble, which will be a great way to publicize this clash in advance. And when Sullivan does return after all of those months, he'll be a made star, right at the top of the heap.
What one must remember is the fact that Sullivan's main roster run hasn't been the best and honestly, his NXT run wasn't anything to write home about either, truth be told. He needs a reset and a push to the very top of the division could be a great way to go about things, in my opinion.
It certainly beats feuding with the Lucha House Party. No offense to the luchadors, but you know what I mean, don't you, reader?
#2 The Fiend attacks Brock Lesnar
At this point in time, The Fiend is at odds with Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship and Brock Lesnar is feuding with Kofi Kingston over the highly prestigious WWE Championship.
Chances are that both men, or 'beasts' in this case, will go on to win their respective championships and become the faces of the brands they represent. I ask you, ladies and gentlemen, what happens when an unstoppable force of nature clashes against the forces of the supernatural?
The question will most likely be answered at Survivor Series, where there's a very big chance that The Fiend could potentially square off against Lesnar. It will be a clash like nobody has ever seen or even conceived. In many ways, I can imagine this match in the main event of WrestleMania and I can also imagine the whole audience in attendance not knowing how this match will go.
And so, maybe the seeds for this feud are sown at the season premiere of RAW when The Fiend attacks Brock Lesnar and lays him out in the middle of the ring. Even an unstoppable being like Brock Lesnar may fear the forces of darkness that he doesn't quite understand.
#1 Braun says he's coming for the WWE Championship
A lot of people are upset at how Braun Strowman has been treated because even though he's perennially been protected, the fact that he couldn't put away Seth Rollins was a big blow to his overall appeal.
And the same can be said of the fact that The Fiend managed to attack him with a mandible claw and fell the monster, severely diminishing his overall monstrous persona.
Maybe WWE decides that the best course of action is to send the monster over to SmackDown Live for a new spell, where he can be away from Seth Rollins for an extended period of time, and clash with a whole new group of opponents.
You have Harper and Rowan who would be thrilled to clash with the likes of someone like Strowman because he sizes up to them and the three men have a history as well.
So what if Braun Strowman were to interfere during a Paul Heyman promo and remind The Beast that even if he goes to SmackDown Live, he is certain to get 'these' hands?
