A former WWE champion recently took to Twitter with a serious claim of assault, pointing fingers at the Mandalay Bay resort.

The former champion in question is none other than Chris Jericho. While he has had a distinguished career in the Stamford-based promotion, he decided to jump ship to AEW during the latter's inception in 2019. His star power and status helped Tony Khan's brand gain legitimacy, helping the company become a credible competitor to WWE.

Jericho is still a regular in-ring performer, having been able to stay relevant by continually reinventing himself. Despite his prominence, it appears he is still not immune to incidences in hotels and resorts.

Taking to Twitter, Jericho called out the Mandalay Bay resort/casino for their recent rough conduct:

"Hey @MandalayBay…it’s unacceptable that u tried to bully me & assault Me, when all I wanted was my bags that I left at concierge. Ur security staff IGNORED me for 30 Min & when I made some noise, physically & mentally assaulted me & laughed in my face. I want restitution NOW!"

Chris Jericho recently got the fans buzzing with an interesting comment about a WWE Hall of Famer

Jericho certainly knows how to draw attention to his thoughts, as evidenced by his opinions.

Speaking on his Talk is Jericho podcast, the Ocho claimed that Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was a better worker than Ric Flair:

“I will say to this day and people will bag. Here’s a clickbait. Hogan is a better worker than Flair. For me. I always had amazing matches with Hogan because he knew exactly who he was as a babyface, as a heel, whatever. He was so great. He knew his audience. He didn’t do anything he didn’t have to. It was one of my favorite times in my career,” Jericho said. [H/T - Wrestlingnews]

As of now, it remains to be seen what is next for the former WWE champion in AEW.
