Paul George believes the energy was off the charts while playing 2nd highest scoring game in history of NBA

Minnesota Timberwolves v Los Angeles Clippers
Paul George shared his experience playing in the league's second-highest scoring game.

Paul George shared what it was like being in a game where two teams scored at least 175 points.

On JJ Redick's podcast, "The Old Man & the Three," George talked about how crazy Russell Westbrook's first game with the Clippers was on Feb. 24:

"That was by far, the craziest game. ... The first quarter, it was like, 'Alright, this is easily gonna be a shootout,' because we weren't getting stopped, they weren't getting stops. We have fresh energy having Russ in the lineup, so I knew we were going to be playing at a high pace.
"I knew it was gonna be a high-scoring game. But almost 400 points combined by two teams, that's crazy. We put up 153 (in regulation). You should win that game."

It was an intensely fought game that surpassed the usual four quarters of a game and extended to two overtimes. However, Sacramento outperformed the new-look Clippers 176-175.

In a game where the stars' minutes were closely being monitored, it was forgotten as they tried to play through it all. Their final total produced the second-highest scoring game in NBA history.
