When Paul George emerged as one of the top talents in the NBA, he was able to maintain a close relationship with his favorite player, the late Kobe Bryant. George shared a special moment that he was able to experience during Black Mamba's final All-Star game appearance.

The former Pacers star shared his moment with Bryant after they met at the scorer's table before checking into the game. According to the star, it was an unforgettable moment for him and even joked that he wanted for them to just sit and talk by the scorer's table.

"I'm talking to him [Bryant], and I'm like, 'Kob, I think I'm going for it.' And we laughed about it and he's like, 'Yeah, that's how it starts. You make the first couple baskets and you know it's your night. Go get it, go for it.'" George recalled.
"So, I'm like, 'Bet.' Any chance I get the ball, it's going up, and I'm hitting. It was climbing, I got like 20-something, 30-something, 41."
"To meet Kobe half court, share that moment, the dopes s*** ever."

Back in 2016, George was still with the Indiana Pacers and was leading the team to success. He was named an All-Star for the third time after missing a sizeable amount in the 2014-15 season due to injury. PG-13 ended the game with 41 points and five rebounds.

The Western All-Stars won the game over the Eastern All-Stars, with Russell Westbrook winning MVP. Russ had 31 points, eight rebounds, and five assists to seal the win for the West.

Prior to the start of the 2022-23 NBA season, many favored the Clippers to be one of the top teams in the league. Due to the depth of their roster, they're one of the teams that are heavily favored to make deep playoff runs. However, due to injuries, the Clippers haven't had a great start to their season.

The duo of George and Kawhi Leonard weren't able to have a stable start due to their injuries. Luckily for Clippers fans, both star wings have been healthy as of late, which has helped improve their record.

The Clippers have a deep bench, but their mid-season moves could affect how they play. It'll be difficult for some players, especially Westbrook, to learn a new system. Additionally, players who have gotten used to the system will have to wait for the new guys to get used to how they play.

It's up to Paul George to make things work, since he's the only player who had the chance to play alongside Westbrook prior to his acquisition.
