FIFA 19 Winter Upgrades: 3 Premier League Forwards Who Will Get An Upgrade

In football, it's very difficult to win games without a brilliant striker playing upfront, just look at Chelsea. Same way, in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team, you need a world-class striker upfront to have the edge over your opponents.

Premier League has some amazing forwards and they are all going for a good amount in FUT. If you are planning to buy a striker any time soon, make sure you check the article first as the player you want, might soon be getting an upgrade.

Here are three Premier League forwards who deserve an upgrade:

#3 – Gabriel Jesus

Manchester City v Wolverhampton Wanderers - Premier League

Gabriel Jesus might not be the first choice striker at Manchester City but rating him at just 83 is a huge mistake. Especially with strikers like Alvaro Morata rated the same and Romelu Lukaku at 86, the rating given to the Brazilian is way below what he is worth.

EA have a great chance to rectify it with the winter rating refresh and they should make the most of it. Jesus has shown what he is capable of, not this just this season, but also in the previous one.

He deserves a rating of 85 at least in FIFA 19. His pace stats of 86 are decent and somewhat ideal but his shooting of 80 and passing of 72 are highly questionable. EA should boost those stats to 85 and 78 respectively as he is way better than what they have rated him.

He has an in-form card rated at 85 and ideally, EA should make that his base card after the rating refresh.

#2 – Raul Jimenez

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Burnley FC - Premier League

When people think of Mexicans in the Premier League, it's always Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez that comes to mind. And why not? The former Manchester United and current West Ham United striker is a real 'fox in the box' and has been a nightmare of the defenders in the league.

However, there is a new Mexican in the league and he is taking it by storm. Raul Jimenez, just like Chicharito, has been scoring for fun in the league and has proved to be way more than just a striker who lingers in the box.

Rated at just 78 in FIFA 19, Jimenez has proved that he deserves an upgrade in February. EA should push him to 80 for sure, but given the number of players already in the 80+ category, they might only push the Wolves striker to 79 with a move from non-rate to rare.

#1 – Callum Wilson

AFC Bournemouth v West Ham United - Premier League

Callum Wilson has been just amazing to watch in the Premier League this season. The Englishman has been leading the charge for Bournemouth and is one of the main reasons why they have played so well.

The striker was a target for Chelsea as well in the winter transfer window but has not managed to jump the ship. Bournemouth have made it clear that they will not be selling him at any cost and The Blues had to settle for Gonzalo Higuain.

Rated at 78 in FIFA 19, Wilson is now set for an upgrade. Much like Jimenez, he too might not get the push to 80 that he deserves just because of the number of players already there. The Bournemouth striker will get a chance if there are a significant amount of downgrades from the 80+ category. If not, he will have to settle for 79.
