#5 Christopher Nkunku

Christopher Nkunku was one of Chelsea's recruits who joined last summer. The France international reportedly cost the Blues £52 million, arriving from RB Leipzig. The club has struggled to find a prolific point-man in attack, and Nkunku who registered 70 goals and 56 assists in 172 games for RB Leipzig was roped in to deliver the goals.

However, the 25-year-old is yet to launch his Stamford Bridge career. He picked up a knee injury in pre-season and is yet to feature competitively for his new club. As per Spotrac, the versatile attacker earns £195,000 weekly, which makes him one of the top earners at the club.

#4 Wesley Fofana - £200,000

The French defender joined the club two seasons ago from Leicester City for a eye-watering fee in the region of £70 million (as per BBC). Much was expected from the young centre-back who had a handful of Premier League experience playing for the Foxes.

But Fofana's time at Stamford Bridge has been marred with recurring injuries. The 22-year-old ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament just before the start of the current campaign, which has kept him entirely out of the team once again for a lengthy period of time.

Fofana reportedly earns £200,000 per week at Chelsea. The fans will be hoping he can overcome his injury problems and deliver on his huge transfer fee and earnings.

#3 Ben Chilwell - £200,000

Ben Chilwell is the second-longest serving member at Chelsea currently and vice-captain of the team. The England international arrived at Stamford Bridge from Leicester City in the summer of 2020 and has been a vital player for the Blues ever since.

He helped the West London club win the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup in 2021. When he is not injured, the 26-year-old is the Blues' first-choice at the left-back position. He has played 92 games across competitions for the club and has registered nine goals and 13 assists.

With a weekly paycheck of £200,000 (same as Fofana), Chilwell is ranked joint-fourth among Chelsea's top earners at the moment.

#2 Reece James - £250,000

It's not startling to see Reece James on this list, as the English full-back is arguably one of the Blues' best and most consistent players. James was named club captain for the 2023-24 season after a massive exodus saw a good number of old-serving stars leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Last season, the Cobham academy graduate signed a new six-year deal with the London club, committing his future to Chelsea, which in turn shot up his weekly earnings. Spotrac reports that the 23-year-old takes home £250,000 every week.

#1 Raheem Sterling - £325,000

When you scan through the current crop of Chelsea players, only a few can boast of experience playing at the highest level like Raheem Sterling. The former Liverpool and Manchester City star is one of the biggest stars at Stamford Bridge.

Therefore, it's only rewarding that he earns big based on his profile. According to Spotrac, the English winger is the highest-earning player at Stamford Bridge with a weekly salary of £325,000.

This sum also ranks Sterling as one of the highest earners in the Premier League. In 48 games played for the Blues, he has scored 12 goals and provided five assists thus far.
