Edinson Cavani to Chelsea: Is he worth it?

Edinson Cavani is being heavily linked with a move to Chelsea this summer for a deal worth around £50m. I am asking you the Chelsea fan reading this if you believe he is worth it?

The Cavani report appeared at the weekend and has been covered by numerous sources. As you can imagine, plenty of figures are being banded about but for the most part it’s believed that in order to release him from his contract at PSG, Chelsea will have to pay as much as £50m.

Now for me there are better alternatives but that’s just my opinion. I haven’t seen too much of him since his move to France but the fact the player has become frustrated at having to play second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic says it all really doesn’t it!

Why on earth would we even contemplate paying that amount of money for someone who does not command the start?

I am sure there are plenty of other options available that would be better than Cavani. What do you people think of Cavani and do you think he would fit into Jose’s Chelsea next season?
