Fernando Torres: Back in form or it's just luck?

FC Rubin Kazan v Chelsea FC - UEFA Europa League Quarter Final: Second leg

Fernando Torres of LIVERPOOL, who can forget his goals, his assists, his skills, his ability to score goals even in very difficult situations, in short, his form. But if we talk about the same player of CHELSEA, then we have to think twice. So much misses, no connection with the goals, no accuracy, no pace.

Fernando Torres started his career with Atletico Madrid, progressing from its youth academy, having netted 82 goals in 214 appearances. He then joined Liverpool in 2007 for a club record transfer fee. Here, he emerged as a star striker, breaking the record by scoring 20 league goals in a season. He also became the fastest player in Liverpool to score 50 league goals. He left Liverpool for Chelsea in January 2011 for a record transfer fee of 50 million pounds. In his first season for Chelsea, the Spain international scored only one goal for the club in 18 appearances, after waiting for 903 minutes, against West Ham in a 3-0 victory (he scored the second).

In 2012-13 season, slowly slowly he got back to his form, as at the start of the season only, in FA Charity Shield Cup against Man City, he scored the opening goal, though Chelsea lost 3-2. Later in early weeks of the season, it was Torres only because of him Chelsea had topped the table.

Scoring crucial goals against Newcastle, Arsenal and Norwich City, it was then that Chelsea was at the top of the table. People started to think that Torres is now coming back in form, but that was partially right. Torres again started to lose his form, but again gained it back.

On 21 November, 2012, Roberto Di Matteo was replaced by Rafa Benitez, who had previously coached Torres at Liverpool. It was reported that one reason for Benitez’s appointment to Chelsea was to help Torres return to his best form.

The latest to prove that Torres is coming back in his form by scoring important goals in important matches is his opening goal against SL Benfica in the Europa League final which the Blues won 2-1.

Fernando Torres can come back to his form, this we all know…just we need to support him!! Good Luck Torres!!!
