Borussia Dortmund head coach Juergen Klopp has a big problem with injuries in the squad.

German side Borussia Dortmund not only lost their top Bundesliga clash against Bayer 04 Leverkusen 0-1 at home at the Westfalenstadion on Saturday evening, but the club was more worried about further injuries key players in Sven Bender and Nuri Sahin.

After the match coach Jürgen Klopp said, “We lost 1-0, but that’s actually the least of our problems today,” and it summed up the mood in the Dortmund camp, who are now 10 points behind FC Bayern Munich and six behind Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

The yellow-blacks are already missing Ilkay Gündogan, Mats Hummels, Neven Subotic and Marcel Schmelzer due to injuries and now last nights game resulted in midfielders Sven Bender and Nuri Sahin having to leave the field due to injuries, which puts them on a high profile injury list while players like Lukasz Piszczek and Sebastian Kehl having just returned from injuries.

And now Borussia Dortmund have to travel to Olympique Marseille for their crucial final UEFA Champions League group game, which if they win guarantees them a place in the Pre-Quarterfinals (Round of 16) ahead of FC Arsenal and SSC Napoli, but Jürgen Klopp will have to see whom he is able to field in defence and defensive midfield.

A makeshift is set to take the field, but Dortmund know what is at stake for them club.
