Modern Ghana reports, Napoli boss, Rafael Benitez is interested in signing Michael Essien in Napoli from Chelsea.
Michael Essien came back to Chelsea this season a after a year long stint at Real Madrid on loan. But the Ghana international has got very few opportunities to play in Chelsea colours so far this season.
With a pool of midfielders in Chelsea already, it is doubtful whether Essien would get to play regularly this season anymore.
Also, the club recently signed midfielder Nemanja Matic. This means the Ghana international could be one of the first out of the exit door.
