TURIN, ITALY – NOVEMBER 03: Kwadwo Asamoah of Juventus FC (R) and Javier Zanetti of FC Inter Milan during the Serie A match between Juventus FC and FC Internazionale Milano at Juventus Arena on November 3, 2012 in Turin, Italy.

Rome, Nov 5 – Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti stirred new controversy claiming the referee favoured Juventus during the Serie A leaders’ 1-3 loss to Inter.

Arturo Vidal scored the first goal with only 19 seconds into play here Saturday night, but it was shown by the TV replay to be offside. Stephan Lichsteiner did not get punished for his vicious tackle, reports Xinhua.

“Continual mistakes from referees can happen, but we have to be very careful, because they cannot afford to make errors like that,” said Moratti.

“The mistake on the offside goal was serious, but the second was intentional. All they had to do was pay attention to the tackle and it would’ ve been a red card,” he said.

“I don’ t make a personal matter out of it with the referee. Above all, it was the second mistake that was unjustifiable,” Moratti added.
