Rumour: Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba not interested in rejoining Manchester United

Paul Pogba has further damaged David Moyes transfer plans for January, by claiming that he will never rejoin Manchester United, the Express report.

Moyes was reportedly looking at Pogba’s performances for Juventus with the view of bringing him back to Old Trafford, as he looks to strengthen his midfield options.

Pogba left Manchester United 18 months ago after running down his contract, joining the Italian giants for a tribunal fee of under £2million.

Moyes was lining up a bid to the sum of £30-40m, but it seems as though such a move would be in vain, with the Frenchman adamant he won’t return to the club, due to his treatment under the previous regime.

Pogba is still smarting over not being given a chance to make an impression on the first team by Sir Alex Ferguson, while the pair also clashed over his wage demands when the issue of a new contract did arise.

Juventus were the lucky benefactors of this dispute between the duo, as they swooped upon the Frenchman when his contract expired, with Pogba having been an ever-present for Juve this term, helping them soar to the top of the Serie A table.

Pogba has created 30 opportunities for teammates this season, with only Wayne Rooney of Manchester United able to better that, while no United midfielder can match the five goals he has scored either.
