Saudi Pro League clubs eye stunning move for Chelsea and Arsenal target - Reports

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, an Arsenal and Chelsea target, is reportedly being sought after by multiple Saudi Pro League clubs. The 20-year-old is in the midst of a solid season.

Sesko has contributed 18 goals and two assists in 42 games across competitions in his debut campaign for Leipzig. Most of those goal contributions - 14 goals and two assists in 31 games - have come in the Bundesliga, where Marco Rose's side finished fourth to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Despite being contracted with Leipzig till 2028, Sesko has been the subject of interest of multiple clubs. As per TBR, he's linked with a move to the Gunners, scoring in seven straight league games to ensure Champions League qualification for Leipzig.

As per transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, two unnamed Saudi Pro League clubs are also in the fray and have tabled offers for the lanky forward. However, Sesko seemingly has no interest in moving to Saudi Arabia, while Leipzig have offered him a new deal, with Premier League clubs also interested in his services.

Despite Sesko scoring, Leipzig drew their last three Bundesliga games but still finished two points clear of BvB, who finished fifth.

As per HITC, the £55 million-rated striker is also being pursued by Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle United, but Arsenal are in the front of the queue.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea registered wins on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday (May 19). While the Gunners beat Everton 2-0 at home, the Blues also saw off Bournemouth at home by the same scoreline.

Despite their win, Mikel Arteta's side finished second, as leaders Manchester City saw off West Ham United 3-1 at home to win a record fourth straight Premier League title.

Coming to the Arsenal game, Idrissa Gueye silenced the Emirates by opening the scoring in the 40th minute. Takehiro Tomiyasu, though, responded for the Gunners just three minutes later before summer signing Kai Havertz scored the winner a minute from time.

Meanwhile, in the Stamford Bridge game, Chelsea opened the scoring through Moises Caicedo in the 17th minute before Raheem Sterling doubled their lead three minutes into the second period.

Although Benoit Badiashile put through his own net a minute later, Mauricio Pochettino's men hung on for the win - their fifth on the trot - to finish a credtable sixth and return to Europe.
