Brendan Schaub has some advice for Darren Till after his fight at UFC 282. In a recent video uploaded to Thiccc Boy, Schaub discussed the matchup between Till and Dricus du Plessis which took place on December 10.

According to 'Big Brown', it was the mental hurdles that came in the way of Till's performance inside the octagon. Brendan Schaub added that 'The Gorilla' might need to see a mental coach in order to get his MMA career back on track:

"The first round looked awful [for Till]... He was getting molly-whopped. He got beat up so bad that du Plessis kind of wastes his gas tank... [In the second round] it showed a little bit of, I don't wanna say vintage Darren Till because the vintage Darren Till, 'The Gorilla', would have starched du Plessis in that second round... Darren Till's thing is mental. It's all mental... Sounds like he needs a mental coach. Who knows? I feel for the guy. I'm rooting for him."

Till fought du Plessis on the main card of UFC 282. The fight started on a bad note for 'The Gorilla' as he faced a barrage of strikes in the opening round without giving any answer in return.

Till bounced back in the second round and looked significantly better. But that did not matter as the South African scored a submission victory in the third round of the fight. The two fighters were the recipients of the Fight of the Night bonus and took home an extra $50,000.

What did Darren Till say after his fight at UFC 282?

After suffering yet another loss inside the octagon, Darren Till took to Instagram to address his fans and give an update on his future plans.

'The Gorilla' apologized to his fans and said that he trained really hard for the fight. The 29-year-old added that he planned on taking a break and making a comeback next year into the octagon:

"I just want to say whether you love me or hate me, I'm sorry... I do really train... the past 13 weeks I've given my all... Now I don't know what to do properly... I think I'm going to have a little bit of time off from the UFC... I'm not retiring... I want to fight soon, next year."

Till is currently going through a rough patch in the UFC. The 29-year-old is currently 1-5 in his last six encounters and is in dire need of a change in his game plan in order to return to winning ways.
