Daniel Cormier isn't a fan of 'Chito' Vera's latest tattoo

Daniel Cormier is not a huge fan of Marlon 'Chito' Vera's new head tattoo.

Vera previously unveiled the latest addition to his skin art collection. However, fans on social media had mixed reactions to his new ink as it was strangely placed on the back of his head.

Needless to say, the UFC Hall of Famer Cormier is among those who weren't supportive of Vera's bold choice. Cormier and his co-host Ryan Clark reacted to Chito's head tattoo during the "Tap In or Tap Out" segment of ESPN MMA's DC & RC show.

Asked how he feels about Vera's tattoo, Cormier said:

"I tap out, man. That sh*t looks terrible. I don't understand why these dudes are putting tattoos on the head. There's the problem. I've got some tattoos. I've got some tattoos on my arms, I've got some tattoos on my leg, on my back."

Cormier added that Vera's decision could prevent him from pursuing professional opportunities outside of fighting. With that in mind, the former UFC two-weight champ thinks tattoos should only go on body parts that can be covered up:

"But guess what? I got tattoos that can all be covered. So if I've got to do a job which we do today, I have tattoos that can be covered. I don't get stuck or pigeonholed into one place to work. Sure, you can do television and fighting. With tattoos like that, I'm not sure you can just go anywhere. So I'm tapping out."

Daniel Cormier reacts to Marlon 'Chito' Vera's most recent win

Daniel Cormier was impressed with Marlon 'Chito' Vera's development as a top bantamweight contender.

After knocking out former bantamweight Dominick Cruz, 'DC' hopped on his show to commend Vera on his constant improvement. On a previous episode of the DC & RC show, Cormier said:

"To watch 'Chito' become this guy off of the Ultimate Fighter Latin America way back when Cain Velasquez was the coach, to be who he is today, is truly astounding. I didn't know that he had that ability at the beginning of his career, but he has shown to be durable, he has shown that he has tremendous power, and he has shown that even though he starts a little bit slow, over the course of five rounds, he works his way into the fight and he gets better and better and better."
