Baker Mayfield's wife Emily sounds alarm as 'slew of tornados' hit hometown Nebraska

Baker Mayfield's wife Emily has reached out to her Instagram followers after tornados hit her hometown in Nebraska.

The tornado ripped through Nebraska, even leveling houses in Omaha suburbs and Iowa.

Emily was quick to reach out, making sure to mark the urgency through her IG story.

"My hometown and surrounding areas were hit HARD yesterday by a slew of tornados. Please please keep everyone in your prayers. And local NE people, please send relief effort options so we can help from afar".

Currently in Tampa Bay with Baker Mayfield, Emily, was born in Nebraska in 1991. She was in the state all throughout graduation, going to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduating in business administration (2013).

However, she ended up moving to Los Angeles after college, where she worked at a plastic surgeon's office. Later, she and Baker moved to Cleveland after he was drafted by the Browns.

The two met via mutual friends, eventually dating and getting engaged within six months of dating.

As of now, Emily has created a space for herself on Instagram with over 223 thousand followers, making sure to reach out and speak her mind through the app.

Earlier this month, Baker Mayfield and Emily announced the birth of their first baby: Kova Jade Mayfield.

True to her active social media persona, Emily kept their fans involved in her pregnancy journey. She kept viewers informed, sharing a cute moment after Kova Jade was born.

However, the couple is yet to reveal their daughter's face on Instagram. Currently focusing on her family of four, Emily added that her comfort level might change later on.

"TBD. Right now we're soaking up all of our firsts as a family of 4," Emily wrote. "For now, I want to keep her private from the world, but who knows where my comfort level will be with time," Emily said during a QnA session on IG.

With the 2024 NFL season approaching, one can only expect more moments and posts from Emily.
