Eli Manning may have retired three years ago, but he was back at MetLife Stadium this week to recreate the one-handed catch that wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. made several years ago. Actor Michael B. Jordan was on the receiving end of the pass this time around.

Jordan, who grew up in Newark, New Jersey, has been an avid fan of the team his whole life. He will appear on an upcoming episode of The Eli Manning Show, produced by the New York Giants. Jordan arrived at MetLife Stadium to be "a New York Giant for the day."

He was dressed in a full New York Giants uniform, with "MBJ" written on the back of his jersey. He attempted the catch at the corner of the end zone and appeared to get it on the first try. There were also a few pads in the end zone to break his fall.

In a conversation with People Magazine, Manning spoke about the experience working with the actor, saying it was great to see his excitement.

"He was like a little kid, excited to just be there."

When did OBJ make the one-handed catch thrown by Eli Manning?

Eli Manning made some incredible passes throughout his career that ended up creating memorable moments. The "Helmet Catch" to David Tyree in Super Bowl XLII as the Giants went on to defeat the New England Patriots was arguably the best. However, the one-handed catch by Odell Beckham Jr. is probably just as memorable for the two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback.

OBJ was a rookie when he made the one-handed catch on Nov. 23, 2014. The Giants were playing NFC East rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, on Sunday Night Football. Beckham was being covered by Brandon Carr on a go-route.

Carr wrestled the wideout as they ran down the rail to the point of drawing a pass interference flag. They both ended up falling down in the end zone. However, as they fell, OBJ desperately reached out above his head.

And the rest was history.

The one-handed catch was labeled the best catch of the year in the NFL. The wide receiver has since produced plenty of memorable one-handed grabs, but fans will agree that none of those were as incredible as that first one.
