5 current WWE headliners who do not have submission manoeuvres

The Lunatic Fringe

The submission specialistIt is important for you as a WWE superstar to equip yourself with a good mix of eye-catching wrestling moves that allow you to secure victory against any opponent. One such deadly mix of moves would be a static finisher and a submission manoeuvre. Confused? Just take a look at someone like John Cena or Brock Lesnar. Cena uses his static finisher, AA, or his submission hold, STFU, to triumph over his opponents. Similar is the case with Lesnar’s F5 and Kimura Lock. Some superstars solely depend on their static finishers to win matches. As part of this slideshow, let us have a look at 5 present main-event level WWE superstars who don’t have submission manoeuvres-

#5 Dean Ambrose

The Lunatic Fringe

The ‘Lunatic Fringe’, Dean Ambrose is one of the most agile WWE superstars in the roster today. Ambrose uses his finishing move, ‘Dirty Deeds’ to great advantage. It so happens at times that you just can’t win matches with just a single move. The fans wouldn’t be convinced if Ambrose wins matches with his acrobatic moves either. Dean, as of today, doesn’t have any standard submission moves. Ambrose uses the ‘Sleeper hold’ on a few occasions but the WWE universe obviously dislikes if someone taps to a ‘Sleeper hold’. It is obvious that Ambrose would main-event a lot of PPVs in the coming days and it would be better if Ambrose comes up with a signature move of his own.

#4 Bray Wyatt

Follow the Buzzards

Despite being a part of some excellent storylines, if there is one superstar in the roster today who hasn’t accomplished much, that would be Bray Wyatt. Wyatt has fought battles with opponents like John Cena, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and The Undertaker. Even after spending 2 years in the company, he is still directionless. Bray uses the ‘Sister Abigail’ finishing move to win over his opponents. That move would be great to watch but Wyatt seriously lacks a submission move. You can’t always get someone in your arms, kiss him and plant him on the ground. As is the case with Wyatt always, it would be great if Wyatt finds a grim submission hold.

#3 Roman Reigns

The Big Dog

Okay, perhaps a disputable addition to the list. Roman Reigns has “Alpha” written all over him. The powerhouse relies on sheer horsepower to decimate opponents, but as history has taught us, characters in the WWE could always benefit from more depth to their personas.

#2 Randy Orton

The Viper

Randy is the odd one in the list. After having stayed in the business for so long, Randy still doesn’t use any submission moves to win matches. He still relies on his splendid “RKO outta nowhere” to win big matches. Even though that looks great, the fans would love Randy even more if “The Viper” could sink his fangs into his prey another way too. He obviously lacks a proper submission move but WWE has managed to mask this deficiency over the years. It is never too late to come up with something creative and let’s see if Orton comes up with a submission outta nowhere!

#1 Seth Rollins

The Architect

What would your perception of a WWE Champion? You think about him as the biggest entity in the business and you expect him to have great physical and mental ability. No doubt Seth is a masterpiece when it comes to mental agility but he lacks some skills when it comes to the in-ring capability. His curb stomp is great but that won’t always help the cause . Seth has been relying on the ‘Pedigree’, a finisher adopted from HHH, to win matches. There is not a hint of doubt in the fact that the future belongs to Seth and it is never too late for Seth to come up with a good submission manoeuvre, at least a borrowed one!

LMAO. Check out who just called Becky Lynch 'tiny' RIGHT HERE
