The Beginning

Raw is New DayIt wasn’t that long ago when the New day vignettes were airing and we couldn’t decide whether they’re the new Nation of Domination or just another comic relief segment regulars. Soon, they made their debuts as overly enthusiastic set of performers jiving and dancing to their theme song, singing along in mere happy go lucky fashion. The audience did not give in. Well, to hell with it, they said and turned heels and have now become a consistent force of entertainment. The New Day have become one of the few must- see performers. They’ve led the tag team revolution. Here are 5 reasons The New Day is the most entertaining aspect of WWE TV these days-

#1 The Journey

The Beginning

It’s been quite a memorable journey towards what this team has become. These were three stars who had no direction prior to forming this team. Even when they became a team, they were quickly being written off. Many expected them to become jobbers soon. But all hail the heel turn!

That heel turn gave them a voice, a personality and more creative direction than ever before. Soon, even the hardcore arenas were chanting for some New Day.

Big E’s southern accent, Xavier Woods’ electric promo work and Kingston’s even cooler presence all came to the fore in glorious fashion

#2 Positivity

They’re activists too.

They’re such a bundle of positivity that it can’t be ignored. They do strike a chord with addressing issues like ‘Save The tables’. The tables are made from wood and wood come from trees and they are the backbone of our environment. And The Dudleys just use that week in and week out as a tool to belittle their opponents.

Ofcourse, it makes for some immensey entertaining moment but who’s going to talk for the tables? The New Day would.

They will remain positive, no matter what, for a better tomorrow.

#3 The right combination

Three is not a crowd.

There is a high flyer in Kingston, muscle in Big E and the best trash talker in Xavier Woods. Woods, especially gets props for being a great manager, being able to be entertaining with just about anything and still knowing how to wrestle a match. All the trombone is such a fitting addition. It doesn’t feel undeserving of its presence at all. Woods even made that relevant.

And it never gets old to see Big E strutting down jiving to the New Day theme song or seeing Kingston jump excitedly and clap during their entrance.

#4 Clap Therapy

The Era of Clap Therapy

Whether it’s ‘New Day Sucks’or ‘New Day Rocks’ chants or just simply ‘New Day’, the clap therapy has been immensely therapeutic in bringing this three man stable some major relevance. They just recently main evented Raw. They are the best three man stable since The Shield.

Remember the time when Kingston’s singles careers was written off, when Big E was left directionless, when nobody was talking much about Wood’s arrival from NXT?

Well, the clap therapy has immensely improved their standing in the WWE right now.

#5 Enthusiasm

Amping up the excitement levels!

The New Day is the Spirit Squad gimmick done right. These three are the best cheerleaders for each other and they are relentlessly entertaining in their pursuit to bring a new day to the world of wrestling.

They are the best motivational speakers, performers around in the realm of WWE right now. When they were refused to be accepted as heels by the audience, they went ahead and continued being their enthusiatic selves as heels. They’re over- enthusiastic and unabashedly proud of that fact.
