The European Champions, Real Madrid are currently playing some of their best football under Carlo Ancelloti. They are unbeaten twenty games in a row and the first team to win all the group matches in Champions League twice. With their star player Cristiano Ronaldo firing on all cylinders, bagging 32 goals in all competitions this season, they are just unbeatable and a force to reckon with. It is possible to achieve the same feat in the recently released PES 2015 video game. Here we have rated the Best Real Madrid team in the game, as we did earlier with FIFA 15. Real Madrid are the only team in PES to have three players rated 90 and above in their lineup.
#1 Iker Casillas (GK)
Still No.1 for Real Madrid and Spain, and captaining them both is, Iker ‘Saint’ Casillas. He is rated 87 in this game, thus becoming one of the best goalkeepers in the game. He was rated 84 in FIFA 15. He gets the nod as the first choice goalkeeper as his deputy Keylor Navas is rated 79 in this game, which is his same rating in FIFA.
#2 Dani Carvajal (RB)
The Spanish youngster has cemented his position as the first choice right back in the current squad, making 11 game starts compared to Arbeola’s 3 starts. Carvajal is young and has more pace, agility, stamina and physique than Arbeola. He is rated 80 and Arbeola is rated 76 in this game. They both were rated 79 in FIFA 15.
#3 Sergio Ramos (CB)
In PES 2015, Sergio Ramos is the highest rated defender (90) in both Liga BBVA and the Spain National Team. He gets the nod as the first centre back in this line up. French youngster, Raphael Varane is the back up for this position and he is rated 85 in the game. However, in FIFA 15, Ramos and Varane were rated 87 and 81.
Only PSG and Brazil’s Thiago Silva (90) is rated the same as Ramos in the game.
#4 Pepe (CB)
Pepe has cleaned his act big time in the recent games for Real Madrid. He is the only starting centre back in La Liga yet to see an yellow card. He has commited only five fouls, 20 fewer fouls than his partner at the heart of the Real Madrid defence. Pepe is now more focused and in better form than he ever has been in the past for Madrid.
In PES 2015, he is rated 86, whereas FIFA 15 has acknowledged him with a rating of only 83.
#5 Fabio Coentrao (LB)
Marcelo and Coentrao, both are rated 81 in the game and are of same age. But, Coentrao gets the nod here because of his higher ratings in Technique and Speed. He has 64 in Technique and 71 in Speed compared to Marcelo’s 62 and 70 in Technique and Speed. The Portugal offensive fullback is versatile and can even play in midfield.
#6 Luka Modric (CM)
After the midfield maestro Xabi Alonso left Real Madrid for Bayern Munich, Modric cemented his position as the deep lying playmaker in this line up. He sits in the centre of midfield and dictates the play alongwith his compatriot Toni Kroos. Modric is rated 87 in this game, same as in FIFA 15.
#7 Toni Kroos (CM)
Toni Kroos is rated 86 in the game and gets the nod ahead of Khedira who closely follows him with 84. He came to Real Madrid from Bayern Munich this season and settled in very quickly. He fits in the creative playmaker role for Ancelloti’s side. He has a rating of 90 for Passing, 89 for Vision and 88 for Technique in this game.
#8 James Rodriguez (CAM)
James Rodriguez is rated 85 in this game, three rating points higher than Isco, 82. He is the best young player in this line up and possess a magic left foot with which he can score some stunning goals. He sits in the hole and dictates the play alongwith Kroos. He is given a free role in this line up and sprays the ball to either Ronaldo or Bale to start the counter attack.
#9 Gareth Bale (RWF)
The 85 million man is rated 90 in the game, which is three more than what he was assigned in FIFA 15 and is the first choice for the Right Wing position. He finished his debut season with an impressive 22 goals and 16 assists in all competitions. He is the second player in this line up with a rating of 90, the first being Sergio Ramos.
#10 Cristiano Ronaldo (LWF)
The highest rated player in PES 15 is Cristiano Ronaldo, the FIFA Ballon d’Or and UEFA Best player in Europe. Ronaldo is firing on all cylinders this season with 25 league goals, 12 goals more than second highest rated player in PES 15, Lionel Messi. He has scored 32 goals in 23 appearences for his club this season in all competitions.
Last season, Ronaldo scored 31 league goals and bagged the Pichichi Trophy. However, this season, there is an expectation among fans that he can score more than 50 league goals.
#11 Karim Benzema (CF)
Benzema has been consistent in scoring goals for Real Madrid and has notched up 20 plus goals consistently in the last four seasons. He is rated 87 in the game, compared to his rating of 85 in FIFA 15. Javier Hernandez is rated 81 in the game and is signed on a season long loan from Manchester United, as a backup for Benzema. Youngster Jese (80) is versatile and can play as both Striker and Winger.
