WWE Raw November 24, 2014: 5 Promising Developments

All eyes were on raw, at least the ones who watched Survivor Series on Sunday. There were many unanswered questions and it was thought that they'll be answered in some form in the next 24 hours.Well, it wasn't to be. While Survivor Series catered to the hardcore audience, Raw catered to a much more casual fanbase, or so it seemed.Anyway, this was a way to get more subscribers to the Network.Hope they succeed. Here are the five promising developments from this week.

#5 AJ Lee\'s not going anywhere

Or so it seems. It was speculated for the third time this year that she is set to leave the WWE. But on Monday, she had the microphone with her twice and in both those instances, she didn’t seem like she was done with her career.

The feud is only getting stronger and for once this short match wasn’t as pointless as it would seems. AJ’s remarks made this segment worth it. She said that it takes both the Bellas to win a championship from her and it has made something to look forward to in this division.

#4 Usos Documentary

There was this short teaser for the upcoming documentary on the Usos on the WWE Network and it looks really good. Trust the WWE’s production team to make each frame look like magic.

The Shield’s documentary was very well done. it’ll be great to have some spotlight on the Usos who have emerged as a very exciting tag team.

#3 Big Show and Rowan

To be honest, this was the only silver lining coming out of Big Show’s umpteenth character turn. And it also looks promising for Erick Rowan to taken on this guy. But the underlying story between Harper and Rowan also needs an answer.

This might lead to some potentially good matches, probably. It would certainly help Rowan to stay in the limelight and have better opportunities rather than becoming a comic relief character.

#2 Mizdow or should we say Damien Sandow

Lillian Garcia got some light hearted flak from Michael Cole for introducing Mizdow as Damien Sandow but that was partly okay given that he could have copied any other superstar. But it was just so apt to copy Hollywood Miz, somebody who would need a stunt double.

Miz does deserve some credit. But Sandow helped himself by getting this gimmick over with the fans. He is hilarious and you want to see him get out of Miz’s shadow and maybe, in the future, utter that he’s a better actor than Miz or any other WWE superstar.

#1 Dean Ambrose\'s momentum

Here’s the thing - even if a feud is underwhelming, even if a match is pointless and even if there is not much time, Dean Ambrose will shine through it all. Ambrose and Wyatt had a good match at Survivor Series but Ambrose came out looking stronger.

Same goes for Raw. He defeated Luke Harper by disqualification, went on to get the chairs, ladder and table but instead got buried into a pile of chairs by Wyatt. He still came out looking tough and it did not affect his momentum at all.
